 The standard Autopro 2500 system includes data files for entering truck, product, customer, source, destination and other information pertinent to the material being weighed. The Autopro 2500 Scale Management System comes in versions tailored for many different bulk handling industries. These include coal, aggregate, waste management, grain handling, recycling and asphalt facilities. Each version contains operational functions unique to the applicable industry. However, all systems maintain the same simplistic methods of operational use and maintenance.

 The system may include a number of options to enhance the scale operation. These include traffic control lights, scale mounted vehicle position sensors, scale mounted ticket printers and remote system access terminals. The user also has the option to operate multiple truck scales from one central computer, even if each scale plays a different role in the operation of the facility.

 The scale mounted Driver Interface Terminal and ticket printer are devices that provide a method of expediting the weigh transaction, thus allowing a portion of the system to operate without a scale attendant. This person is then free to preform other duties within the operation.

 Several reports such as a contractor totals report, trucker hour log and a transaction audit trail also come standard with the system. A report writer is also integrated into the program to allow the user to develop custom reports.

 The Autopro 2500 system may also be equipped with a custom accounts receivable module. This allows billing functions to be performed directly on the scale system computer which eliminates time consuming data transfers. AutoPro can be easily interfaced to many different database managers such as SQL Server, Access, Informix, Progress, etc. It becomes its most powerful when installed on a network so multiple users can view, modify and interact with data real time. It can also be directly interfaced to many popular accounting or spreadsheet applications such as MAS, Quickbook, Great Plains, Excel and many, many other data management systems.

 The system is equipped with multiple levels of password security protection to help the administrator maintain the integrity of the system.

 The Autopro 2500 Software is compatible with many operating systems (including all current Microsoft offerings) and can be directly interfaced to a wide range of networks, accounting programs, spread sheet programs or other data management systems.
