WV PSC Compliance Systems

The state of West Virginia allows coal trucks with state issued permits to haul loads that exceed the legal road weight limitations, but only on certain roads. The catch to this is ALL coal handlers in the counties that support this system must report ALL on-road inbound and outbound coal transactions to the WV PSC within 24 business hours.

Scale Automation Systems has developed an automatic reporting system that is easily integrated into an existing Windows AutoPro Software package, whether it be attended or unattended.

This system runs in the system tray so it is out of the way, but easily accessible and with a simple configuration, it connects automatically to your internet service provider via dial up or your local area LAN and then FTPs the coal transaction information to the WV PSC in their prescribed file format.

If a coal handler does not currently have a scale data collection system such as the AutoPro Software Package, they can still report their coal transactions to the WV PSC by using our manual reporting system.

This system allows a user to batch transactions for submission to the WV PSC. This reduces the time spent entering each individual transaction one by one.

Our manual PSC system allows an operator to quickly enter in each days coal transactions, submit them to the WV PSC and retain a backup of all data that was entered and submitted.

The manual PSC system stores all data entered in a local database which allows the user to retain this data for any period of time. Should the PSC have questions about any transactions entered or need certain transactions resubmitted this information will be at your fingertips and would not have to be reentered.

The manual PSC system also comes with a full set of reports that are fully customizable much like what you would find in our AutoPro Software Package.
